If you’re after a delicious yet nutritious snack that tastes like a treat, protein balls are defnitiely the way to go. This recipe is so quick and easy, and definitely one of our favourites…but best of all it requires minimal skill in the kitchen!
1C wholegrain oats
1/2 C coconut
1/4 C dates
1/4 C almonds
2T peanut butter
2 scoops Scorpion 100% Natural Whey (vanilla)
Mix, chop, and mash the ingredients together then add water one tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency – mixture should hold its shape and be a bit sticky. Roll into balls and then in into coconut. Simple.
These balls of goodness only take a few minutes to whip up and can even be stored in the freezer for later. We used Vanilla flavoured protein for these, but you can switch it up for any flavour you like…so get creative and give ’em a go!
